 Three Card Poker is quite unique in that it is actually two games in one and players may choose to play either or both at the same time.  Think of it as a cross between Let It It Ride and Caribbean Stud Poker.  It is very easy to play and offers a relatively low house advantage (2.32% for Pair Plus and 2.14% for AnteBets) and gives players a chance a winning large jackpots on a single hand.  .
The object  is to beat the dealer with your poker hand OR to correctly predict if you will receive a pair or better .

Game Play 

  • The game is played with a standard 52 card deck using a modified Blackjack Table.
  • Players have Three betting areas in which they can place their chips: Pair Plus, Ante, and Play
  • Players wishing only to play Pair Plus place their bet in the betting area marked "Pair Plus".
  • Players wishing to play more conventional poker against the dealer may place their bet in the area marked "Ante".
  • Players may elect to play  Pair Plus,  Ante, or both games.
  • All players and the dealer are dealt three cards, face down.  Players may not show their cards to or discuss them with other players.

Procedures for Pair Plus 

  • After three cards are dealt to the player, the player's hand is then revealed.
  • If the hand contains at least a pair or better the player wins an amount specified in the payout table:

Procedures for Ante Wager

  • After Three Cards have been dealt to the players, players unhappy with their hand may may elect to fold by placing their cards face down and announcing they wish to fold.

  • Players confident of their hand may elect to continue play by placing a wager equal to their original Ante wager in the betting area marked "PLAY". 

  •  The Dealer reveals his hand.

  • If the Dealer's hand does not contain at least a Queen, he fails to qualify and all Ante/Play bettors win payouts at even money (1 to 1) on their Ante Bet while their Play Bet is returned.

  • If the Dealer does have a Queen or better he qualifies, and players must compare their hand to the dealer's.

  • Players with hands ranking lower than the dealer lose both their Ante and Play bets.

  • Players with hands ranking higher than the dealer win payouts of 1 to 1 on BOTH their Ante AND Play bets.

  • Players having certain high ranking hands qualify for a Bonus Payout REGARDLESS of whether the dealer qualifies or even beats their hand. Bonus Hand Payouts are as follows:

1) Learn the Basic Strategy

For Pair Plus bets there is no strategy.  Once the Cards are dealt you are either a winner or a loser.  For Ante / Play wagers the strategy is quite simple:

If you have at least a Q-6-4 then go ahead and call the dealer by making the Play bet.  If you have anything less than a Q-6-4 then fold.
