Red Dog is simple, usually played for low stakes, and offers
a moderate house advantage; better than most slot machines but not as good
as Blackjack.
The object is to guess whether
the value of a 3rd card pulled from the deck will be between those of the
first two other cards.
Game Play

Red Dog is played on a table that looks similar to a Blackjack table

Players place their bets.

The dealer draws two cards and places them on the table

Players have the option of raising (by betting an amount twice their original
bet) if they feel the value of the 3rd card will be between the values
of the first two.

Payouts on winning bets will be determined by the "spread" or difference
in value of the first two cards.

If the value of the 3rd card is not between the values of the first two,
all players lose.

If the values of the first two cards pulled from the deck are consecutive
(e.g.. 7-8, or 4-5) the hand is considered a tie and all players get their
bets back.

If the first two cards pulled have the same value and the 3rd card is of
a different value, the hand is considered a tie and all bets are returned.

If the first two cards pulled have the same value and the 3rd card pulled
from the deck also has the same value (3-3-3) all players are paid at 11
to 1.
